So... how much does Xuan look like us...??


Invested in the HAENIM Big Blocks, cost a bomb... but this large ticket can be converted into a few scenes for different feel.. I can also create a table n chair for Xuan to sit at to do her draawing (in the future).... but i still crackin my head of where to place this at... Living room or her bedroom?? As usual, she like "taking apart" the structure.... it juz a ultra big lego to her.... on a footnote.. her current favourite toy is the Mega Blocks....

2nd Visit to the pool
After two weeks of not goin to the pool, xuan is again timid in the water... Although she did not cry loudly, but she refused to walk abt in the wading pool till very much later when we were abt to go wash up...

We went to the national library sale at expo... wat a sea of people.... although the pricin are attractive... but the crowd is a real turn off.... If u intend to buy loads of books,, guess it worth it.. but be prepared to cramped with the rest to dig for books.... here are the stuffs we bought.... some books for xuan, some parenting/informative books for us to read up...

Ever since she start using straw to drink, whenever she saw us drinkin from a straw, she will pester n keep tryin to grab the cup to drink....If we refused to give her... she will kick up a racket n start cryin.... as if we bullied her..... sigh... but we will mix the drink with water to dilute b4 lettin her drink n play with the cup... It pretty funny to c her head disappearin behind the cup when drinking.... haha


3rd Visit to the Swimmin pool (2wks later after the previous)
This time round, i even prepare her normal bath toys for her to play at the pool. GB wants to buy a floatin board and to start teachin her to swim... but i do seriously wonder if Xuan is still too young to learn swimmin via the swim board.... hmmm....

First time lookin at the "sea" - East Coast. We were supposedly going for the polliwogs on 20 Sep. But due to the crowd in the evening, we decided to postpone to the next day. N since we are there.. might as well take a stroll at the beach. The wind was pretty strong then. Xuan loves the wind.. she kept sticking her head out to the "incoming" of the wind blow... remind me of a doggy puttin its head out of the window during car rides....


Finally exploring at the Polliwogs... Verdict: Not too bad. But as there is no seperation of younger toddlers to the older ones... parents should keep a look out for the younger ones incase the older toddlers came bull dozing....

Aug 09

Hv been changing n changing xuan's room. So far, this arrangement hv been the longest. At the moment, there also no plans to change... The queen size bed is big enuf for her to turn abt in slp (most importantly, big enuf for us to squeeze in to nap with her or to hug her to slp when she cried from slp). Although the play yard is meant for confining her to play... but i use it as a protector ard the bed to prevent her from fallin instead... cos, at the moment, she stil dosen't like to walk freely ard the huse.. She will only stay in the room. If she wants to come out... she will juz cry... yes.. jux cry.... -_-" while other babies once learnt the "wonder" of walkin abt, will want to "explore" ard... Little xuan prefer to stay put n with us in the room instead... sigh... duno if to b pleased that she so "ladylike"... or to laugh at her for being so "sticky".... btw,.. i hv boght new wall decals... will be changin the decals to make it more "co-ordinate"... hahaha she loves to touch n point at the pics decals. n we will teach her the names of the decals tat she point n touch. sometimes, she try to follow us.. mumbling the sound... sometimes, she will juz grin foolishly... haha




One of the shots of her watchin "music video" during TV times.... She is most responsive when any scene with music comes on. Sometimes, she will twist n turn, squat up n down, mumbling along or laughin. It so entertaining to c during such times. GB says she has such "music talent".. must sent her for piano lessons when she older. Guitar is out, cos it too unladylike for his little girl.... but personally, i think guitar lesson is better, cos her coach will b foc... her own daddy lor... haha




Finally brought xuan for her first swim.... the first planned was during her first yr celebration. we booked a chalet at the aloha loyang. We planned to bring her to the swimmin pool there. Even bought the swimsuit, suntan lotion, special towels, floats, etc... but too bad, cos of the H1N1, the resort was used as a "ge li qu" for those suspected carriers... so disappointed. but this mth, we finally brought her to the csc clubhuse at tenssenhon rd. She really not a water baby... kept cryin n refused to let go of us... grabin us so tightly... luckily it was a wkday afternoo... there isnt any other babies.... so no fear of a babies "choir".... but she does like to laze in the float going round n round. =)




Xuan's 2nd Zoo Trip (13 Aug 09)
Brought Xuan to the Zoo again. Luckily, i check the Zoo website for the rainforest's washing dates.. Cos the original date we planed on going, is another washing date. =p
This trip was definitely more worth than the previous trip. Bside lookin at the animals that she enjoyed during the last trip, she also have a great time fondling the guinea pigs. N of cos, taking the toys out n down at the store... =)

Borders Book Fair (10 Aug 09)
Bought some more books for Xuan. =) Xuan is so happy with the books that she insisted in carrying the books. So we let her hold on to one of the set. Dun c it small... but it contain 5 board books n a disc. it pretty heavy!

10th Library Book Sale (22 Aug 09)
Went to get more books... There were alot of people. Spent alot of time squeezin with other people to browse the titles. Little xuan was nappin most of the time... Only wake up near noon time.. =)

Result not too bad. She finish 3/4 of the cup. =)

2nd updates on Jul 09

During one of times we brought her down to play at the playground. There are so many babies and toddlers there for Xuan to observe. By doing so, she will start tryin to imitate wat the rest r doing.... such as walkin n climbing. =)
