Brought Xuan to play with Erica at Tampines Mall's playground. Erica had alrdy learnt to stand independently! When is my gal goin to surprise me neh??
Drenched duck look. Whenever I give xuan a bath, i will purposely pour the water down her head. Cos she always look so startled n at lost when water is runnin down her face... She will suddenly turn to hug me or grab tightly at the side of the tub... ya, i know... this mommy is very "cruel",, but it really made this wu liao mommy laugh when to see her reaction.... but dun worry, i always make sure she will be safe when i play this on her....
Xuan's first taste of fried food... French toast. use a little of butter instead of oil to fried it... she was rather curious n play with it awhile b4 eatin. initially was greedy to take a few at a time to stuff inside at her mouth.. but soon, she grew bored, n start showin her "patterns" liao... sigh..
Finally allowed her to touch a dog.... a doggy owned by one of the little boys who often played at the playground.
Made Xuan library card n borrow 4 board books. A baby journal n a "nursery" cd was also given. but hor, we didnt let xuan hear the cd as we found the lyrics amended to such "local taste" that it no longer sound nice.
Hugging one of her favourite huggable blanket - I refer this pink one as Bug Bug....
Playing at the playground downstairs... With some of her little frens. a wk older pretty jie jie n a near a month older handsome gor gor. the little boy alrdy know how to walk-run liao..
One of the shots of her cryin after meal time. At times, Xuan's pattern really test my patience to the limit. For this mth, she suddenly refuse to eat her porridge n kept cryin ( n v hard at it).... showing the baby dics, playing with her does not help at all.. once the spoon is comin, she clamp down n start cryin if try to force..... sigh.... she following her daddy's bad habit of choosin food. tired of one food easily. Hv to work out more menu for her. Cos she no longer will guai guai eat her porridge, n choosy in food, decided to let mil to cook her meals instead... cos for the first two days. she also refuse to eat the bread/cereal/porridge. End up eat the spare biscuits as meals instead... No pt for me to continue to prepare her daily meals not knowin if she want to take. Might as well, pass "baton" to mil. She would be able to cook up another dish straight away if xuan refuse the first food... although feel a bit of my takin care of xuan taken away. but it also free up alot of my time... I no longer hv to stay up late to prepare the food in portion, wake up early to cook the porridge, or wkends boiling stocks, etc... cos workin, housework, errands have alrdy tired me out. =p. guess "you si bi you de"....
Gymboree trial lesson at Harbour Front branch on 21 Jun 09. Taken some videos. But at this pt, am still not able to edit the videos,,, thus will upload the videos at a later time...
Also happened in the middle of this mth, Xuan finally start to stand alone!! but it started cos she find it fun.. will suddly push herself to stand up, then giggle n fall down immediately.... too bad, jeffrey was doin his RT, thus didnt get to c it the first nite.
after the first nite, she continued doin at inlaw place the nxt day n at home when we fetch her back... but after abt 3-4days, she stopped her tries liao... only sometimes will subconciously stand unaided when deep in tots while playin or holdin a toy/etc.. hopefully, she will be confidnt in standin soon n then "upgrade" to walkin.... hopefully, i will be the first one to c her walkin... but chances are slim lor... sigh.....
Update on her physical development. she is now 9.1kg and 75cm tall.. her 12th n 13th teeths have also sprout out... We hv started to give her cod liver oil as supplement. Orange flavour.... she takes it quite well..... will be tryin the original flavour when the current one finish... =)
