Xuan's 2nd Birthday celebration at our place. DIY a mango-cream sponge cake. Cook some food (Fried rice,Zar Er, Fishball, Hotdogs) Potluck from GuGu also (Agar Agar, little fried Popiah, Ngor Hiang and Gu Lu Rou). Actaully there still 1kg of chicken wings. marinated, but worried not able to finish, thus didnt fried... Also bought 2tubs of taiwan eggcurbs as dessert. =)
The whole nite, the happiest is Xuan liao. My whole family in her room playin with her. Another funny incident is that she will pull individual to take photos with her with the cake..... =)

Finally shortlisted a childcare center for Xuan. But it is still not been built yet. Was invited to its "preview" session first to put our name in the list. There will be a orientation again at 4Q 2010 when the center is finally done. After the deposit, then we will be confirmed a place. So hopefully, we get to be shortlisted to place the deposit then Xuan can start in Jan 2011. =)


Went to the Sia Huat warehouse sale at pandan rd(or is it loop?) area... not as much items that i was interested. More suitable for those who lookin for catering or DIY buffet at home ba... lots of ceramic plates, burners, refills, trays, etc... But luckily, i stil can find a couple of good find - a "yuan yan" wok for steamboat $10, a display stand for cakes/cupcakes $4, couple of small bowls $6 n a stool for Xuan $5. =) at least the car fuel is stil worth it, especially that my mom n sis also went along to buy some some items?? lol

Celebrate our 6th weddin anniversary at a near by resturant. Not too bad for the pricin. Brought Xuan along, but she kept wanting to walk abt, cross over here n there, thus we had a rather "busi" dinner....


Very surprise that GB bought a bouquet for me on the actual day. Not considering our wedding day bouquet, the last time i received was abt 8-10yrs back... cant remember the exact yr liao.... =p but not his fault la.. cos i not a fan of flower.. only like the baby breath, instead of the roses.... haha.. so told him not to waste money on flowers.. juz a trinket will do. But i guess, woman will b woman,.. stil happy to receive it. although i wonder wat to do with the bouquet now.. sigh.... so i still prefer trinket.... i even told him to buy me capsules toys instead.. at least i love the cute things n can add them to my collection.. with flowers, i at a loss of dealin with it... lol...

but at least one in the family still appreciate the flowers... xuan will play with it for a while at times....


Went to fetch my parents n eldest sis from their trip at T3. Might as well make use of the chance to bring Xuan to walk walk there... but the timing was bad... cos there wasnt much store opened when we reached at 9+am... stores only start opening at 10+am. N the kiddy rides opened even later at 11+am.. we were not able to try the rides as we had to fetch my parents n sis at slightly after 11+am... So mayb we will try again another time to really enjoy the facilities there.

Went to a trial lesson for painting. Acabradoodle. But Xuan was totally not interested.... guess music suits her more....


Went to the nearby Jacob Ballas after the lesson.. Been a yr since we last came here for her 6mths photoshoot. she was stil not able to walk then... times has past so quickly....

Stil scared of the sound, but was curious of the sparkling... Conclusion, fear won over curiousity... After awhile of carrying, she kept wantin to go back to the house... Poor me and my sisters... have to wash n mop the verranda floor which was covered by the fireworks soots....

On the weighing machine. Finally reached the 10kg mark at 23mths. (btw, she has reached 83cm at last home-measurement)... Bravo for my mil for her patience in feeding her, and the avocado milk shake i been giving her most of the nights to boost her weight.....


Hugging Stitch while watching "Lilo & titch" on the TV.... Initilly, she will point the stitch on the tv with the plushie stitch. Keep alternating between smiling n hesitating look as if in awe that stitch i with her, yet also wonder y there anther stitch in the TV.


After a long break, finally brought her to the swimmin pool again. This time, we try the branch at Tampines. Comments: A big pool, with lots of "fountain pouring" down... but not too suitable for Xuan as the waterfall was too strong for her to stand properly even if she dares too,,, It was also only 1/3 sheltered for the baby area... unlike the one at bras besar where it fully sheltered (which we prefer)..

As for Xuan behaviour, still the same, refuse to let go of me. Start crying when I move a little further away from her... In the end, i caught a cold as I was not able to go deeper into the pool to keep myself warm.... instead.. hv to immerse only half body n let the wind blow while shading Xuan from too much sun n wind... sigh... Was down with flu for the next five days... xuan also caught the flu bug from me.. but luckily,, jus slightly n was able to recover naturally without any visit to the doc.. only have more mucus for those few days.... =) No shots were taken while we r at the pool, but manage to capture some shots of xuan playing with the lockers while we were waiting for guobing to finish his bath...

Juz reaise that Xuan dun like to lie down on cold marble floor... she will spread her duckie blankie on the floor first b4 lyin on top of it to play with her magnets.. even if in the room, she will only lie on top of the bumper mat...


New toy from GuGu Liling...
Juz a mth back, we were debating whether to buy a mickey mouse plushie that we saw at Lot One while having a gathering dinner with our polymates. After much pondering n consideration. we decided not to buy it as we find her having too much plushie.. she also stil have two small mickey n minnie plushie tat were freebies from the Poh Heng jewelleries that she received from my sisters n brother during her first month... Will juz take those out for her to play with now.... they bcome her new "good friends" since then... who knows, one day, Liling bought the plushie for Xuan as Xuan always enjoy the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse shows at my inlaws place.... =)
