Been postponing the task of training Xuan to slp alone in her room for a long long time... partially was lazy to get up n walk over when she cry for attention. but mainly cos I loves to watch n kiss her face every night as I fall aslp. But with the upcoming soon-to-be big tummy, the dreaded task has to be carried out.....
17 Mar 09 - the first nite. GB had a hard time to coax her to slp in her bed. In the end, he still have to bring over our pillow n bolster to lay bside her to restrain her movement.. After a long 1hr, she finally doze off..... I woke up at 3-4am for toliet break, n heard a tiny "whinning" sound... Went to ck on Xuan, and saw her sittin at the bottom corner of the Queen-sized bed (she was originally at the top area of the bed), makin the little kitten sound... once she saw me, she immediately crawl over n stretch out her arms to me... Hv to cuddle her n lie down with her to slp. but after 30mins of her keep pullin off my blanket... i finally surrender to the coldness n went to wake up GB to "take over", so that i can snuggle back to my own bed for warmth.... hahaha
18 Mar 09 - the second nite. she was obviously v tired even from the time when we fetch her.. Thus the main reason of why she almost immediately KO when GB lay her to slp. Amazingly, she slept thru out the nite without crying. =)
19 Mar 09 - still awaits to know the result.... hopefully, she can continue to slp on her own. =)

Change of Blog Add - 09 Mar 2009
Sigh....
Been pondering for sometime if to create two seperate blogs or changing the current one to a "family blog" instead. Wld love to create a 2nd blog for my little ones. But facing up to reality. I really dun believe I will have the time to maintain updates for both blogs. Thus hv to go for a family blog instead.
Yep, there a new addition to our little simple family. The new member will be a little ox baby in Oct 09.
We were able to c #2's flickerin heart durin the 2nd Gynea apt on 07 Mar 09. With experience from having Xuan, this time round, we could easily spot the small flickerin. Although it not the first experience, still, it nv fails to amaze me of the fact that there a little life inside of me now. =)
Now we keep tellin Xuan that she gonna be a big sister, must b kuai kuai... as if she will understand us at the age of 9M, goin to 10M... LOLx.

Peep A Boo
Was v surprised when Xuan pick up her blanket herself n start playin Peep A Boo with us. But it was only one time. Thereafter, she nv tried again liao...
Kindermusik Trial - 1st Mar 09
Brought Xuan to mingle along with other May 08 babies. But sad to say, she stil as timid as the previous gatherin. Only want to cling to me, n occassionally, approach the two little cute babies at her sides to interact.. but interaction was really v v limited.... sigh....
The lesson was pretty interestin. But cos it her first time in the environment, Xuan was pretty quiet... She smile a little when the class was playing peep a boo when goin thru the introduction song. She also show interest in the rainmaker. Will b tryin to find where the rainmaker is sellin.....
Another interestin issue, few of the mommies commented that Xuan look "v different"... hmm... mayb I hvnt been postin her recent pictures up. Her hair had grown longer?

Feb 09 updates - Part 2
Xuan lookin earnestly at us to play
Hoping to DIY Xuan's 1st yr cake. but startin with small project first... CUPCAKES =p Was not sucessful for the last 3attempts... hmm.. afterall, this my first baking. Cant blame rite?? If not in time to present edible ones, will juz hv to buy from off shelves liao.. =(
Went to Science Centre. Tot got valid tickets. but turn out, there another condition to fllfilled.. sigh... nvm, will apply for corporate passes another time... =p
Revamp of Xuan's room again... Xuan learn to crawl more liao.. so hv to safeguard her bedside... to prevent her "kissing" the floor... only surround 3 sides of the bed as the last side, there will be bumper mat to withstand her fall... =p mayb when she grow older, will then install the rest of the play yard panels to fully "cage" her in... lolx....
This the new wardrobe bought to hold xuan clothes n toys...
Finally took time to go Singapore Flyer to utilise the tickets... Being coped in the cubicle, Xuan was bored most of the time, n keep whinning to walk abt, move abt, throw paper abt... sigh....
Due to reasons, hv to stop latchin Xuan, thus been givin her EBM even when the "Milk factory" is with her the whole day... But luckily Xuan dun mind to using btl even during wkend... I guess, if hungry,, there not really a choice rite? lol... But I sure miss the convenience of not needin to prepare btls n foods when we go out. =p
Xuan's aunt hv bought another few toys again! Here Xuan playing with one of it.. =)

Daddy using the FOC ballon given at the Mothercare exhibition to hit at Xuan. But silly little girl, juz woken up from nap, is sure in a v happy mood. =)

Forgot to bring Xuan's jacket, thus hv to let her wear the nursin shawl instead.... she look so "helpless" as she cant "find" her hands....
